Detecting
This is one of the few tools here that cannot run in your browser, so the text is sent to our server and on to a language model to be rewritten. It is not saved, not logged and not used for training.?Only the text and your four toggle settings are sent. There is no account, no cookie and no copy kept once the reply is returned. Do not paste passwords, keys or anything you would not put in an email.

What changed
Where your text goes
- Rewriting text needs a language model, which cannot run inside a browser tab, so this tool posts your text to our server.
- Our server forwards it to a language model provider and returns the result. Nothing is written to a database or a log file.
- An anonymous, hashed request counter per connection is the only thing stored, and it holds no text.
- Keep credentials, keys and confidential contracts out of it. For those, use a tool that runs fully in your browser.

Questions about polishing text
Which languages does it handle?
Any language the model reads, which covers all widely written languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. There is no language selector: the language is detected from your text and the reply comes back in that same language. It never translates.
What is the difference between the four toggles?
Fix Grammar handles tense, agreement, pronouns, articles and word order. Fix Spelling handles typos and wrong-word slips. Fix Punctuation handles commas, full stops, capitals and spacing. Improve Language goes further and rewrites clumsy or repetitive phrasing into natural wording, keeping your meaning and your tone. Leave it off if you want a strictly minimal correction.
Is my text stored or used for training?
No. The text is held in memory only long enough to get the corrected version back, then discarded. It is not written to a database, not logged, and not kept by us for any purpose. The only thing recorded is an anonymous hashed counter used to stop abuse, which contains no text.
Why did it say every model is busy?
The tool runs on free model capacity and tries several models in turn. When all of them are rate-limited at once, which happens at peak times, you get that message. Waiting a few seconds and pressing Polish text again almost always works.
Will it change my meaning?
It is instructed not to. Facts, names, numbers and tone are preserved, and nothing is added or removed. With Improve Language on, sentences can be reshaped for readability, so read the change list on the right before using the result for anything important.

Request details, and a real speed fix
- An info icon next to the result summary now reports what was sent and what came back: model, provider, detected language, token counts, cost, round trip time and any models that had to be skipped.
- Fixed the biggest remaining delay. A model would return a perfectly good correction wrapped in slightly broken JSON, the tool would discard it and fall through to a slower model. Those replies are now repaired and used, which cut a typical pass from about 25 seconds to about 10.

Tidier fix switches
- The four switches sit in a fixed two-by-two grid instead of a strip that could scroll sideways. They drop to a single column on a phone.
- The detected-language tag no longer flashes up before there is a result to describe.

Much faster polishing
- Swapped the model line-up after benchmarking across English, Spanish and romanised Hindi. A typical pass now takes about 7 to 15 seconds instead of 25 to 60.
- The two slowest models were dropped: both spent more effort thinking out loud than correcting the text.
- The new first choice also keeps your text in its original script instead of transliterating it.

Elapsed time and version tag
- The output panel now counts up the elapsed time while polishing, and reports how long the finished pass took.
- A failed pass reports how long it ran before giving up.
